Yes our venue is in Essex, located just a 15 minute drive away from Braintree and under half an hour away from Stanstead Airport, for your far flung guests. We found an old pub, nestled in the heart of Rural Essex, immediately realised the potential of our idyllic surroundings and decided we had to share it with prospective couples.
Essex is known for its diverse landscapes, from countryside barns and rustic estates to elegant manor houses and coastal backdrops. Its accessibility from London and excellent transport links make it ideal for couples expecting travelling guests. At Compasses Weddings we can help you organise your wedding AND get you booked in with our local B&B’s so that everyone can either travel down on the day or get settled prior.
So whilst we cannot give you a specific time, its always preferable to book in advance, especially if you have a particular day that is special to you.
