We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Compasses at Pattiswick in August 2021. It really was the most amazing, emotional, and beautiful day. We honestly believe there is no wedding team in the world that could have arranged our day and looked after us as well as the staff at The Compasses. Thank you to Jono for all of the assistance in booking, planning and rearranging our dates, he worked so hard and always with positivity and a smile in such awful times. It really felt like he shouldered some of the stress for us. Val was on hand and an invaluable part of the day in assisting the bridal party. Without her the bridesmaids would never have been able to find the bustle on the wedding dress! She was so knowledgeable about everything to do with the ceremony, it really helped calm the nerves!! Paul was on hand on the day, and to be honest there just aren’t the words to express our thanks for how well he did this. We trusted his advice at the planning meeting and he was so right on every account. He made our day what it was, and we thank our lucky stars we chose a venue with him at the helm. His tireless enthusiasm and passion for the job is just a joy to see, and something many of our guests commented on also. The whole team were amazing, every member of staff working on the day is a credit to The Compasses. Months on and we are still on cloud 9 from our wedding and get emotional looking at the photos. If anyone was considering having their wedding at The Compasses we would not be able to recommend this wedding venue enough.
